Firstly, if you haven’t already please sign up for the Affiliates Newsletter. Here, I will give you the latest information on Internet marketing and in how to drive more traffic and get more conversions. I will also update you with any changes to the product and new articles or resources to help you with your marketing.
Now, this guide for affiliates is divided into various sections.
Getting Started
1. Sign up with Clickbank
I use the website Clickbank in order to manage and promote the website. If you do not have one already you will need to register with Clickbank and get your Clickbank ID. This only takes a couple of minutes and will help you get paid easily and quickly everytime you make a sale.

2. Create your affiliate link
You now need to create an affiliate link (also called a hop link ID). This is a very easy process to do and allows you to send people to a website address with your link in it. Clickbank will thereby know that you have sent a person and they will pay you accordingly.
Your affiliate link: http://xxxx.rahulnag.hop.clickbank.net
Replace the XXXX with your Clickbank username. Make sure the rest of the link is exactly the same.
For example, if your Clickbank ID name is joebloggs, then your link would look like the following:
http://joebloggs.rahulnag.hop.clickbank.net
3. Promote this affiliate link
Now, all you have to do is refer people to this link and when they click on it they will be redirected to the alcohol free social life website. Clickbank will store a 60 day cookie on the customer’s computer and if they order within this time, you will be automatically paid by Clickbank the commission rate.
Some people do suggest that you use a display URL of www.alcoholfreesociallife.com instead of the affiliate link just because some people prefer to see this rather than a long complicated link. It may also help with conversions.
